It is always remarkable, but it is especially good with dynamic tracks where there are instruments playing at various volume levels: an example of such a track is Vista by J Whitty, where the instruments fade in starting at a very low volume but can be clearly heard from the beginning. In the mid-range, important for blocking out speech, they reduce outside noise by more than 24dB, which is very good. The KZ AS10 are amazing in their own way: their tuning is balanced and enjoyable, there’s a very good technical level and they’re comfortable. They also look better and have a better build quality, thanks to the braided and replaceable cable. And, much to my surprise, this is also the first time KZ manages to produce a product with proper tuning. The AS10 performance is excellent and it’s very comfortable to wear. The KZ AS06 (Left) and AS10 (Right) I find the AS06 to be just about as comfortable as the AS10 with reasonably good sound isolation. The group delay graph also shows that the entire response is well below our audibility threshold. Their sound quality surpasses significantly the W40. This time we have the Newley released ZS10 Pro model that is the latest offering from a Chinese company that consistently puts out great bang for buck IEM’s. Your Name * Your Email * Review Title * Review Text * More Products from KZ. I prefer the CCA’s recessed 2 pin cable but on all other aspects the KZ AS16 is the hands down winner. The W40 also have a better design, thanks to more comfortable earbuds, and are more portable thanks to their solid case. Decent for sports. When a product is discontinued or no longer popular, we sell the purchased products locally in Montreal, Canada. Currently, they're the second most expensive IEM KZ has put out, running at $70 on Amazon and basically the same price on Aliexpress. The most expensive would be the KZ BA10 at $90.I was provided these KZ AS10s as a review unit and these are my honest opinions. 6. Using foam tips helps reduce noise a bit, but they can’t replace the isolation that the shells do not offer. I agree with your review especially about lack of sub bass extension and the bump at midbass. They are breathable enough for multiple different casual usages and for working out. Posted on June 24, 2019 August 30, 2019 by Oscar Stewart. The appearance they are able to surprise and bribe many. Sometimes changes inside are also reflected by changes outside. The AS10 do not have a microphone and therefore, the noise handling has not been tested. Read honest and unbiased product reviews from our users. Hey Lars, Yes, they are good… for the price. I'm going to review the KZ AS10 this time around. The better sound quality and cheaper price make the KZ a better choice over the Shure. Review unit of the KZ ASX supplied by Wooeasy Earphones Store – thank you very much. They are quite bulky, which may not fit every listener, especially people with smaller ears, but they are thinner than the similar KZ ZS-10. I’ve EQ’d these and the Bass is more powerful and controlled than anything I’ve heard. The KZ AS-10 are comfortable in-ears that offer an average sound quality with good noise isolation, on top of very low leakage. The KZ AS10 is the first product by KZ that comes in a heavy cardboard box, with a somewhat premium look and feel. Although the tuning is generally way better than that of previous earphones, it is not devoid of criticism. Like the ZS10 before it, the AS10 does not offer a high level of passive isolation from external noise, providing just a bit of reduction in volume and not much more. They surprisingly performed much better than the similar ZS10, and we suspect this is due to the slightly smaller and thinner design of the AS10 which allows for a closer and tighter fit in the ear. The treble performance of the KZ AS-10 is good. If the user is able to achieve a proper fit and an air-tight seal using the assortment of tips that come with the headphones, then they should be able to get consistent bass and treble delivery every time they use the headphones. I personally prefer the Yinyoo 6-core cable, but you can find many on the Web for cheap. This also means that their range is limited by the used cable's length. KZ AS10 | 5x Balanced Armatures | We are reviewing the KZ AS10, the first headphone from KZ with an all balanced armature driver’s configuration. KZ engineered the nozzle to spread contact evenly around the inside of your ear for a perfect seal. FEATURES - 7/10. Mid-bass on the BA10 is dialed down slightly giving it a slightly leaner mid-range than the AS10 and giving it a more balanced feel. It is limited in depth, struggling to reach the lowest frequencies and stopping around the 50 Hz mark, and it is emphasised in the mid region. Of course, it also costs more. BUILD QUALITY - 8/10. Also, the L/R drivers of our test unit were very well-matched in frequency, amplitude, and phase response. Feel free to leave a comment. The braided cable is also a nice addition to their premium feeling. The KZ look and feel more premium than the 1More. They both were released last month at around the same time and share so many similarities, I won’t bother making separate reviews. Nevertheless, they are decent sounding in-ears for their price range and will sound good enough for most users. KZ Acoustics or Linsoul are not affiliated with Headfonia. My full review is embedded below – tested at $99-102. The braided cable seems durable enough for most usages and looks great, but it is not very thick. 1 piece 296898 for Mids, 2 pieces 30095 for Highs, 1 pieces 31005 for Mid and High.
